Short Story Contest
This blog will be hosting a short story writing contest, the topic of the short story will be a kits life in a clan of your choice. You may make up the characters they encounter. All submissions are due by June 20th. Please submit all stories by Comment on the page "Writing Contests and more".

ReplyDeletescourgekit's pupils shrank in fear as he hung onto the cliff "scourgekit!!! remember you're part dragon you can fly!!!" his mother tigerstar (her real name is tigerfrost everybody) hissed her out streched claws holding onto his paws. He looked at his back to see his black wings fluttering wildly then he closed his eyes tears starting to fill them "I CAN'T!!!" he shreiked "I JUST CAN'T!!!" he resumed shreiking. Tigerstar instantly hissed "flap your wings you can fly you're part dragon!!!!" he then shighed and began to flap his wings he felt his mother's grasp on his paws slip away and his grasp on the cliff finally let go. He felt himself fall then rise up and land in front of tigerstar she instantly nuzzled her muzzle in his fur as he bent his head down crying in fear starting to calm down from the touch of his mother's calming touch. "Mom!!! is scourgekit okay?" cloudkit hissed as he ran over to his mother then he stopped dead in his tracks as tigerstar turned to him "tell all your brothers and sisters that scourgekit is fine in fact tell them that we're coming into the camp" instantly cloudkit nodded his head, turned, then went into chaosclan camp. Tigerstar lifted her head away from him adn began to walk torward the camp then scourgekit quickly raced after her. (this was something that had happened to scourgeface when he was a kit)
ReplyDelete"Maybe if we can catch a bird, everyone forgive us for what we did," Mousekit mewed encouragingly, "and then Darkstar will make us warriors!" "Really, Mousekit?" asked his younger sister, Rosekit. Mousekit felt bad for lying to his littermate, he never would have the heart to tell her their lives will never be the same again, all because of what they did. Right at that moment, Darkstar came stalking in the nursery, digging his claws in the ground with frustration. "Why did you tell Goldenstar that we had catmint and tell her we might be able to give her clan some? Why were you so mouse-brained and got taken hostage by Streamclan for a pawfull of catmint, when Moonpelt, your mother has caught greencough? Your mother could die!" Out of nowhere, Berrytail appeared and yowled at his half brother angrily, "How dare you yell at these kits?! They are my responsibility not yours!" "If these 2 kits are your responsibility, why don't you teach them the warrior code at least once?! Hissed Darkstar. "You always feel like you are so powerful, but I know you are not!" spitted Berrytail. Both terrified kits shrinked in the corner of the den as there father and half uncle bickered. "What do you mean 'you know that I am not powerful? hissed Darkstar. "I know you don't have your nine lives, I know these kits are yours!" Both kits gasped in shock and horror, " You lied to us?" asked Mousekit in shock, and he ran out of the nursery with Rosekit at his heels. (When Mousekit and Rosekit found out the truth of their bloodship)
